Safety Skills for Educators

Unfortunately, each school year, thousands of educators are injured on the job due to student aggression. These injuries can lead to damaged relationships, trauma, lost work time, and an unwillingness to further work with offending students.

This personal safety skills course has been crafted to provide educators with strategies to enhance the prevention of physical aggression that can sometimes be exhibited by escalated students.

In addition to prevention strategies the course also provides suggestions on how educators can respond to student initiated punches, kicks, and grabs to name a few.

The ultimate goal of this training is to empower educators with the skills and confidence to protect themselves, thereby enhancing the overall learning experience and safeguarding the well-being of everyone involved.

Course time: approximately 60 - 90 minutes
